My name is Michael “DJ MXM” Taylor. I have been loving my job making people dance and smile while entertaining them since I was 15 years old. Originally an international touring DJ, getting to play in over 50 countries on 4 different continents, I have been very blessed to do what I love.
Working with amazing couples to bring their dream weddings to life is what my company and I are driven to do every day. My team share the same passion and drive to make memories that last a lifetime.

DJ Wee is our fun, easy going entertainer who knows how to throw a party. Wee is one of our most requested DJ’s when a laid back, relaxed event is what they want.
With more than 20 years of DJing experience, DJ Wee has been playing music in the Hilton Head and Bluffton area almost his entire career. He is one of the most popular club DJs in the Lowcountry area that has been keeping dance floors full in all the best clubs.

Mike is one of the best!!! He makes it look easy every time it steps behind the microphone. One bride was quoted as saying “I wish we could get married every week so DJ Mike Rowe could do it all over again”. His style is one that fits with even the most demanding couples and delivers perfection every time!

We hired Michael Taylor and MXM Productions to provide DJ services for a 70th birthday party on Fripp Island. We had advised Michael prior to the event that many of the guests were a bit older and therefore were primarily interested in music from the 60s and 70s. He came to the event well prepared and did a fabulous job with the entertainment...
Mike was an amazing dj for our wedding! He played everything we asked for, really got the crowd dancing and made our special moments that much more special. Mike Taylor with MXM Productions was an absolute pleasure to work with. During my first meeting with Mike he gave me so many great tips from his years of experience that it felt like he was my wedding planner. When I told my vendors that Mike was my DJ they were all so pumped because they said they loved working with him! The music on the day of was fantastic. Mike read the room well while choosing songs and announcing events. I couldn’t have been more pleased.
Immediately after my first phone call with Mike, I knew he was the right DJ for our wedding. He had a great set up for our outdoor ceremony and the indoor dance floor and lights for the reception. He was also great about keeping everything on track, and when dinner finished earlier than we planned, he asked if we wanted to do the first dances earlier (I really appreciated this!). I was worried about getting and keeping people on the dance floor because it was a destination wedding with beautiful scenery and we had a smaller number of guests than we'd originally planned. I should not have been worried! Mike kept the dance floor packed the entire night and multiple people mentioned how great the music was. I would absolutely recommend MXM Productions to anyone!
After watching my husband in action, I was nervous about having someone else DJ our wedding. Not only was I pleasantly surprised, we offered Michael Rowe to be part of our permanent team! He was responsive and quick on his feet, keeping up with the tempo of our reception, and the fun our children and friends were sharing. A huge thank you and welcome to our team!
Mike and Kathy did a fabulous job at our son and daughter-in-law’s outdoor wedding this past weekend at Honey Horn! Although this wedding was canceled twice in 2020 due to Covid, Mike stayed in touch with us and was able to accommodate our changes. And at the wedding the sound quality was fabulous as well as Mike’s smooth voice! I highly recommend MXM Productions!
Amazing Vibes from DJ! I was a guest at a wedding where Mike and his staff provided the entertainment and lighting. It was a beautiful reception and Mike kept everyone dancing all night long. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding or event. We are all still talking about what a fantastic job he did catering to all ages that night! A fantastic 25th Anniversary Celebration! Thank you, Mike, and MXM productions for making our 25th Anniversary Party a memorable one! Your tunes to our Margaritaville themed party had our guests swaying to the music and dancing all night long. Neighbors even told us the next day they wished the music went on longer as they enjoyed listening while sitting in their yard. It was a pleasure working with you from the moment we spoke on the phone till the event was over. Your knowledge of lighting and music made our party a hit. Small wedding with mighty sound! Mike was amazing. From the first phone call to the end of the night everything was great, super professional and fun. Although we had a smaller wedding (40ish people), Mike kept everyone on the dance floor. Song choices were on point, even ensured the songs we requested were played. I don't think my husband and I sat down once. He was even accommodating on my husband's unconventional song choice for him and his best man walking up the aisle as well as being able to play a Portuguese song for the mother son dance. Mike had a definite range of music he played for us! I would absolutely recommend Mike, he made our day even more perfect

Fun & Professional! DJ MXM was the DJ at a wedding I attended recently at the Westin on Hilton Head. It was a kid friendly wedding, and he knew how to keep it fun yet family friendly. Everyone had a great time. The lighting he had was a really nice addition as well! If you are looking for a professional DJ to make sure everything goes smoothly, he is your guy.

Dance, dance and more dancing! My daughter’s wedding was in November 2018 and everyone is still talking about how much fun they had Our Dj was fabulous! Mike kept the reception going on and off the dance floor! From the ceremony, cocktail hour, announcements of the wedding party. Cake cutting and departure for bride and groom Mike was on top of it! There was never a dull moment- I have two more weddings to go and I will not have to look for a DJ- mike will be my pick for sure!!! Family friendly and amazing accommodations! MXM Productions was definitely the right choice for our wedding reception. Music for all ages. Got everyone dancing. Even allowed us to have best man and maid of honor give speeches and introduced us and made our first dance as husband and wife so special. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a DJ for any event!!
